Bio and Background

Shadrick “Scooby” Toodle Jr. is a long, physical safety who brings junior-college production and a pro-ready frame to Auburn’s secondary.

Listed at 6’4” and 210 pounds and hailing from Mobile, Alabama, Toodle arrives on the Plains with a reputation for playing the game with urgency—triggering downhill in run support and competing for the football in coverage.

Before Auburn, Toodle developed under head coach Jack Wright at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, where he helped power the Bulldogs to a 9–2 record in 2025 and a run that reinforced MGCCC’s standing as one of the nation’s premier JUCO programs.

Across his MGCCC career, he totaled 26 tackles, added one interception, and recorded five pass breakups—a stat line that reflects both his willingness to tackle and his ability to disrupt passing lanes.

His impact also earned him First Team All-MACCC South recognition.

A product of Cottage Hill Christian Academy (and a basketball letterman), Toodle’s path is as compelling as his measurables: he committed to Auburn with the intent to join his younger brother, Shadarius, as Tigers, turning a family vision into an SEC reality.
